The Alameda High Counseling Center provides many
services for students and their parents. Each student is assigned a counselor.
Students are encouraged to make an appointment with their counselor when they
have questions or concerns.
The Alameda High School Counselors will assist students as follows:

Students should sign up on the counselor appointment forms located in the main counseling office.
The Counseling Department provides academic and personal counseling, college and scholarship counseling and job placement information. Students may use the Career Resource Center, financial aid, college and career software and college videos during school hours.
The Tri-High Health Center provides support groups regarding adolescent issues (i.e. chemical dependency, transitional issues, communication, depression, etc.). Students may self-refer through their counselors.
AHS is a test center for SAT I and II throughout the school year. Please check with the College Board for exact dates and test registration procedures and fees.
